More Than Nine Lives Other Various Artists Industry 8's 'More Than Nine Lives' 2CD Compilation is full of choice cuts of awesome music and all profits from the sale of it are to benefit PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Wellness Society), the only no-kill shelter in Philadelphia. with artists; Mueran Humanos, Bestial Mouths, Synapscape, Totakeke, 100blumen, Blood Rhythems, The Frozen Autumn, Bootblacks, Sullen Serenade, Nadja, The Spiritual Bat, Cult Of Youth, His Electro Blue Voice, Dream Affair, Moon Women, Entertainment, Lowness, Creepoid, Steamripper, Access To Arasaka, Author & Punisher, SGNLS, Claps, Monica Richards, Primary Colors, Revel Hotel, Crash Course In Science, Void Vision, Worms Of The Earth, Erik Wollo, Black Tape For A Blue Girl, Zero Degree, Live Not On Evil, Population, and Love Is Nothing , it has a little something for everyone. From folksy to experimental to even ambient dub and industrial, this compilation is full of all kinds of sounds. It's a melting pot of talented artists and well worth checking out. This compilation is extremely worthwhile and there really wasn't anything on here that was bad. Some artists I've known and already like and you will no doubt recognize as well ( Black Tape For A Blue Girl , Worms Of The Earth, etc) and some I've never even heard of. Theres tracks that are good to just chillout and listen to, tracks for dancing, and tracks for fun. The 1st track, "Exito De Una Santana" by Mueran Humanos , is really catchy and though my Spanish isn't the best, I still loved it. Some stand out tracks include; "Rallentears" by The Frozen Autumn, "The Rites of Love and Death" by Nothing, "Silent Still" by Claps, "All I've Never Wanted (Let Go)" by Revel Hotel, and last but certainly not leat, the zany "Cow Cat" by Crash Course In Science. "Cow Cat" is a crazy good time from start to finish, it's a sensational addition and a hysterical breath of fresh air. It would be a fun party song for sure. Give it a chance and see for yourself. The bottom line is this; Industry 8 has put together an amazing compilation of music for a very good cause! Its beyond worth checking out if there are still some copies available as this 2 CD release was limited to only 500 copies. 550
