Breedless Electro, Goth Ego Likeness Ego Likness, a female vocalist industrial/gothic metal band that I first was introduced to the moment I got their latest album 'Breedless'. This is a 13 track album which offers you a good mix of slow and fast tracks with melodic synthesizers and electric guitars combined with the powerful voice of the lead vocalist. The tracks are very clean and has good production so nothing to whine about there. The major problem with this kind of music is that it gets really boring in the long run, at least for me it feels almost like a never ending story. Also I am usually a bit critic about female vocals and have never really liked them that much, specially not in gothic music. Still, the singers voice isn't bad at all so it doesn't really bother me here. I don't really know what to tell you about this release because its kind of straight forward and no track is better or worse than the other. They are all kind of even, so to speak. If you like this kind of music then I would recommend you to listen to a track or two, this is a hard genre to stand out in when there are so many bands like this out there. None the less 'Breedless' is a decent album, but bit boring in the long run (at least in my ears). 350
