The Golden Vagina of Fame and Profit Industrial, Electronics Caustic American Caustic is back with his Metropolis released 'The Golden Vagina of Fame and Profit' (you think that is an awesome title, check out "Rainbows, Puppies & Crap", "Unicorns, Kittens and Shit" and "And You Will Know Me By The Trail of Vomit") after a history of self-released albums and Crunch Pod releases. Caustic's music is a psychotic bastard. At first, you think you got the hardcore industrial all figured out, you even become friends with tracks like "666 on the Crucifix", "Hiroshima Burn", "White Knuckle Head Fuck (feat Faderhead)" and the mellowed out "Orchid (feat. Unwoman)". But as soon as you let your guard down, it will turn on you 180 degrees and slap you in the face with the minimalistic "I Play Computer!" and the instrumental dance floor track "Darling Nicky's Gnarly Dicking". You'll get even more confused with the rap-like "Chum the Waters (feat. Ned Kirby)", which is a lovely track by the way. 'The Golden Vagina of Fame and Profit' is a rollercoaster in electronic music with fast turns and ups and downs. Personally I prefer music with small twists and surprises; this is gets to schizophrenic for me. This is meant to be playful and a bit unserious, so make sure you are in the right mood for it. If you're watching One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and think that everyone in it seem to be a bunch of psychologically stable guys, this might be something for you though. 350
