New York City based gothrock group Vonesper has released a brand new video/single 'Battle Plan'. The video was shot and directed by core members of the band: bassist Kevin Vonesper, guitarist Kris Halpern, and singer Jess-O-Lantern. You can stream the video below and purchase it HERE

The video also features Brian Viglione (Dresden Dolls, Violent Femmes) on drums, Sam Oatts (Hudson Hank, Kiss Kiss) on horns,  and Nina C Young on the violin. The video showcases Jess-O-Lantern fighting demons that have held back the band from their true potential, and they are represented by Kayla O'Keefe, Brendan Taylor, and Jeff Grunn. The video is then followed by a visual history of Vonesper's 15 years of life, as well as what the future holds in store for them.

Vonesper has also announced a Patreon campaign coinciding with the video. The funds granted from this campaign will allow Vonesper to keep creating DIY singles and art to be released as free download. You can contribute to that HERE.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
