Frontman Alex Reed, formerly of ThouShaltNot and author of Assimilate: A Critical History of Industrial Music, blends funk, soul, synthpop, and post-human politics all into one fantastic record. Co-producer Daniel Myer of Haujobb and joined by guest artists Merzbow on 'At the Road's End' and S ∆ M M U S on 'Stranger', SOL has talent on top of talent packed into its core.
