Lykanthea Unveils Music Video for "Telos"
Lykanthea, an electro-ambient musician based in Rome, Italy has teamed up with Chicago based filmmaker E. Aaron Ross to create a video for her song Telos. Moody, dark, meditative are all terms that can be used to define Telos, which is also the first track off her debut EP Migration.
The EP was originally released back in July 2014, loosely based on the Sumerian tale of the goddess Inanna's journey to the underworld. Though instrumental, each song on the EP helps craft a new chapter in this figurative book fusing both the modern touches of technology with the ancient narrative.
Lykanthea, AKA Lakshmi Ramgopal, is a solo musician and a Ph.D. student in Classics. She is heavily involved in the music scene, currently designing a sound installation for exhibition in the Eternal City ahead of a European tour.
