We've just stumbled across a diamond in the rough known as V is For Villains. The best way to describe this unique band is that they're a cross between steampunk, goth, and electrorock with a vocalist whose voice resonates a bit of Weird Al. V Is For Villains has found a niche audience within the Anime scene; they're even returning to headline the Anime Midwest Con at the Rosement Convention Center in July.

Anyway, V Is For Villains has crafted a wickedly addictive and catchy song titled 'Sad Hit Song'. Parodying pop music as a whole but also putting out a melancholic and emotional message about depression, 'Sad Hit Song' is not something to be missed. Part of me is happy while listening to this while the other is sad. In other words, I'm confused. Either way you can stream the single directly below and check it out for yourself:

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
