Brooklyn, NY based Gothrock/industrial project Abbey Death has launched a crowdfunding campaign for their debut album Gravesend via Kickstarter. They are aiming to have it released as both a physical and a digital copy with perks going from a digital download, to a physical copy of the album, all the way to Abbey Death writing a song for you! And, well, they explain it much better than I in the video below, so check it out!

You can contribute to the Kickstarter HERE. And for more on Abbey Death, follow them on Facebook and check out their debut EP via Bandcamp

Abbey Death is Valerie Abbey (The Cruxshadows, Black Tape for a Blue Girl, Angelspit)  and Filip Abbey (AKA Abbey Nex, known for playing in Psyclon Nine, Combichrist, and Genitorturers). Seeing as how both artists have fetched on their own solo projects very well, Abbey Death is a constructed mix of Valerie's melodic side and Nex's outright industrial chaos. Both musicians tones play violently, but the mesh always proves outlandishly good. As stated above, they are currently working on their upcoming album and I am more than excited to hear it.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
