Hi Painbastard, thank you for doing this interview! How are you?
- "First off I have to say that I'm sorry for let you waiting. I'm very busy at this time. You know, I am a lawyer and my head is really pounding of too much work. But besides that I am fine."

You have just released your album 'Kriegserklaerung', tell us a bit about it!
- "'Kriegserklaerung' is honest, straight and ruthlessly candid - all in all my personal declaration of war to society and the rest of this f***ing factitious world. 'Kriegserklaerung' is really near a dear to me and reflects our current world affairs."

I really love the vocals in the track "BCM", will we see more of that harsh voice without so much effects in coming releases?
- "On 'Kriegserklaerung' I very often used my voice without much effects compared to my former releases. I'm intended to perfect this new style of my voice because there are too much bands which use this harsh distorted voice."

The track "War Never Changes" have the epic samples of Fallout 3, are you a fan of the game?
- "I am really not, but I like the sample. I do not play any games like on Playstation and Nintendo etc. I think it is a waste of time and time is my primary goods and so you can say that my children are not glad about my conservative sight."

In the track "Silent Death" you sing about Kazakhstan's nuclear problem. Is it about the atom bomb test sites or the nuclear waste storage executed by the Kazakhstan President? How come you made a song about it?
- "I have seen a report on TV. It was shocking and I was so deeply grieved and in a complete emotional turmoil I had to process my feelings and thoughts, therefor 'Silent Death' was born."

What are the benefits of being signed to Accession Records?
- "That's easy and I can answer this question briefly: A reliable support and to know that Accession Records keeps its words."

What are you up to, part from your work with Painbastard? Summer coming up, any tour plans for the new album?
- "I will start working on my new album in July 2010. Albert of Contribe is planning some gigs. Painbastard will not go on tour because I only give separate concerts which based on occupational and family reasons."

Any last words to our readers?
- "It's time to show your colours!"
