ARTIST SPOTLIGHT : SKYND : Michelle Carter
SKYND has quickly become a favorite of mine; their combination of industrial-tinged electronics and dirty pop music has been a staple in my playlists since I first heard 'Elisa Lam'. The true crime duo has chosen their new case to be based on Michelle Carter, who persuaded her boyfriend to kill himself over text message. Different from the other cases they focused on in the past, this tech-based crime caused much controversy. You can watch the music video for this single below:

Suzi Sabotage - "POSTMODERN DYSTOPIA"
Helsinki, Finland based musician Suzi Sabotage has released her debut album "POSTMODERN DYSTOPIA". Inspired by the likes of coldwave, darksynth, darkwave, goth, post-punk, and other such genres, the eight track album has been released via Bandcamp. BlakLight - "Control"

Curse Mackey - "Submerge"
Industrial artist Curse Mackey has released a brand new EP titled "Submerge". The EP features a radio edit of the title track which features Clan of Xymox, a mix of 'Dystopian Dope' done by Dogtablet, as well as a remix of the title track done by Chase Dobson of Cellar Graves, Neon Cities, and Tycho. Sawtooth - "Cold Days Ahead"
Goth and industrial artist Sawtooth has released a brand new EP titled "Cold Days Ahead". The EP features the vocals of Juliet Brownell-Lee on 'Crawling Towards The Light' as well as a performance from John Greene of Fifth Business. Sega Lugosi - "Un-Undead" 
2009 saw the release of "Sega Lugosi's Dead", whereupon The Gothsicles introduced the arch-nemesis character Sega Lugosi. Played by Matt Fanale of Caustic, it became a quick hit. Aesthetic Perfection - "Gravity (Featuring Sebastian Svalland)"
Rather than typing out a description this time, I'm going to let industrial pop artist Daniel Graves do it instead. Here it is: I often feel as if I’m losing touch with what holds me to this Earth. Simultaneously crushed beneath the weight of existence, while slowly being pulled away from it. My new single “Gravity” details my struggle to keep my feet on the ground. Darkwave artist Hante. has announced that her brand new album "Morning Tsunami" will be released on July 2nd, 2021. The nine track album has been described as "more electronic and brutal, full of raw and dark emotions" by Hante. Record label Civitas Mortis has announced that they have re-issued Waveshaper's phenomenal album "Artifact" in CD format. Previously only available in both vinyl and cassette formats, Civitas Mortis brings the release to their roster. FLOORLESS - "Telepath"
Post-industrial / metal duo Floorless have released their debut album "Telepath". Matthew Gossman, frontman of Floorless, stated this about the release, "The recording process was quite unique for this this album since it was almost entirely recorded during the Coronavirus pandemic. Mike and I used "Splice" to collaborate and program the songs, which is basically a live online document for our production software. I recorded all the guitars in my apartment, and our engineer "re-amped" that recording into an actual amplifier in the studio as if I was actually there. French darkwave project Halo's Eve has released a brand new music video for their single 'Pharos'. The single comes off of their upcoming EP which is due out on June 18th, 2021 via Anesthetize Productions. The band has also announced that they will be released a new track at the end of May. VAZUM - 'Haunted House'
Deathgaze duo VAZUM has released a brand new music video for their single 'Haunted House'. This is the first song off of VAZUM's forthcoming album "V+". The single is based on a real-life experience that vocalist / bassist Emily Sturm had. She was woken by a shrill, inhuman sound emanating from the distance during a winter night. The following morning, it was discovered that her neighbor and her child were brutally murdered. You can stream the video for the single below:
