Jeremy Inkel - "Hijacker"
Though Jeremy Inkel's unfortunate passing has left shockwaves throughout the industrial and EBM communities, his spirit and soul lives on through his music. Credited with being a part of, co-writing, and touring with legendary bands such as Front Line Assembly, Left Spine Down, Noise Unit, Delerium, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, and many more, Artoffact Records has announced they will be releasing his solo debut album "Hijacker". Described as an album celebrating Jeremy's life and also the album that he always wanted to make, "Hijacker" contains thirteen original tracks. The album will be released in CD and vinyl formats which can be streamed / purchase directly below:

God Module - "The Unsound Remixes"
This is a pretty self-explanatory album; these are remixes from God Module's 2019 album "The Unsound". System Syn, Iris, ESA, Invalid, Velvet Acid Christ, Funker Vogt, and more appear on the remix album. Go check it out:

Nightcrawler - 'Lucid Dreams'
Stepping into the shoes of danceable darksynth music comes Nightcrawler. Known for their moodier set pieces that evoke the darkest season of the year, 'Lucid Dreams' is a subtle step in a different direction paved by acts such as Perturbator. The digital single is available on Bandcamp and can be bought / streamed below:

Fake Snake - "Instigate"
Power electronics, tecno, and general industrial noise combine on Fake Snake's new record "Instigate". This thirteen track release sees life via record label Cryptic Passage and has been put out in both CD and digital formats. You can stream / purchase the album directly below:

EARTHFLESH / Crepuscular Entity - "EARTHFLESH / Crepuscular Entity"
If you're into music that sounds like the static mesh on an old school TV was put on full volume then EARTHFLESH and Crepuscular Entity's new split album is the one for you. It features a fifty-minute or so piece from each artist, with the third song on the album being a combination of the two. The digital album was released on Basement Corner Emissions and can be streamed / purchased directly below:

Dissonance - "Trials Maxi Single"
A new EP from industrial, pop, and alternative rock project Dissonance has risen from their creative mind and it is titled "Trials Maxi Single". The EP features the title track as well as four remixes from various artists. The final track on the album is another original song titled 'Incessantly Falling'. You can purchase / stream the EP directly below:

Brutalist Architecture in the Sun - "Suitomoton Single"
Though it is titled as being a single there are, in fact, two songs on this release. Which makes me wonder why musicians don't just call their releases a double? Anyway, that's a top of discussion for another time. Brutalist Architecture in the Sun is a coldwave project based in Rochester, UK who is releasing a brand new two-track release on August 31st. The title track is currently available for streaming with the second song unlocking on the release date. You can stream / purchase the release directly below:

Caldon Glover - "The Mundane"
Dark ambient / drone producer Caldon Glover has released their new album "The Mundane" in both CD and digital formats. The six track release was recorded "as a celebration of the mundane moments in life where we find the space to care about ourselves and those close to us." The album was made by recycling "the sounds of old and ailing recording mediums" and other such methods. You can check it out directly below:

Naxal Protocol - "Divergent Margins"
Harsh noise project Naxal Protocol has released a brand new album titled "Divergent Margins". The album has been released in digital, CD (comes with a pin!), and a CD / T-shirt (pin also included) bundle. "Divergent Margins" contains six tracks described as the "latest erosive news from the depths of mental, cultural and intellectual resistance". You can purchase / stream the album below:

Grizzly Steppe - "Svalbard"
Coming from the minds of Mark Spybey (Dead Voices On Air / Download) and David Thrussell (Snog / Black Lung) is Grizzly Steppe, an ambient / experimental experience. In 2019 they recorded a live performance within the caverns of a Spitzbergen facility and that performance has been recorded. It is now available in a limited edition CD and digital formats via Re:Mission Entertainment. The album can be streamed / purchased directly below:

Fatigue - "Illusory Things"
"Songs of mortality, identity, unrest, societal collapse, and bitterly dancing on the ruins out of spite." The artist states it the best this time around; a single sentence both identifies and describes the themes of all the songs present on their new album. Expect dark synthpop. Check it out:

METADEVICE - "Ubiquitarchia"
METADEVIA has been slowly making a name for themselves in the power-electronics and death industrial scenes. Their oppressive noise is not the usual "let me blow out your eardrums", bedroom recorded mess that's often associated with the genres. What you get here is a meticulous crafted, horror inducing study on darker experimental electronics. The album's digital version has been released with a cassette version due out on September 18th. Check it out:

EVOLVA - "AuralDreams"
Producer EVOLVA has released their new EP "AuralDreams" via record label EK4T3 Collective. The release contains five tracks in total including a remix of 'SONA NYL' from Stahlschlag. The project describes their music as "synthetic wave influenced by retro futuristic sounds, sci fi movies and mystic trance". You can purchase / stream the EP directly below:

Molly Noise - "IMPURENOISE"
Independent industrial producer Molly Noise has released a brand new EP titled "IMPURENOISE". A very well put title for a release contain field recordings from both the producer and others, the EP is "about machinery that's stopped working from the State to the Body to the Appliance." The album has been released digitally via Bandcamp; you can check it out below:

Damascus Knives - 'Meds'
Dark techno project Damascus Knives has teamed up with director Francesco Brunotti to release a brand new music video for their song 'Meds'. The single comes off of their EP "Would You Feel Safer If You Carried A Gun"; the digital release was put out via record label SquareWave. You can listen to / purchase the EP HERE and you can stream the music video directly below:

Totvm - 'K o n t i n u u m'
Though they describe their music as a sort of DIY-outsider pop, there's no denying that the dragging beats and somewhat lo-fi production values lends itself to the witchhouse movement. At least that's what I suspect is the case with Totvm's latest single and music video 'K o n t i n u u m'. But, hey, be the judge of that for yourself. You can stream the music video directly below and you can purchase it HERE

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
