It's a dark and spooky night but that is nothing unusual during the scariest month of the year. You and your friends have decided to head to the local club to get your dance on in your oh-so meticulously crafted costumes. As you waddle your way through a couple of streets, you begin to notice that a few people have taken their undead costumes a little too seriously, even going so far as to walk and moan like the dead. Soon enough, you're seeing multiple of these costumes and when you hit an epicenter of these fiendishly dressed cosplayers, you begin to notice a certain stench of rotten flesh. As you look about you see these "costumes" are no costumes at all, and that these folks have indeed been turned into horrifying zombies. Standing their with your group, you pick up the nearest weapon you can find and prepare for one hell of a fight - it's time to 'Take the Night'.

This is the premise of Beautiful Machines' latest single 'Take the Night', a gorgeous and lush synthesized dream focused on Halloween and - of course - zombies. Having fun retro synths inside along with a premiere synthpop beat, this could easily work its way into any DJs playlist on All Hallow's Eve. But, enough talking. We at Brutal Resonance are proud to bring you the exclusive premiere of Beautiful Machines' brand new single 'Take the Night'! Stream it directly below:

'Take the Night' comes off of Beautiful Machines' upcoming and third album "Singularity". You can purchase the single HERE. This is the second single off of the album which was preceded by 'Bastian'. You can check out their previous single and older albums via Bandcamp.

I've been writing for Brutal Resonance since November of 2012 and now serve as the editor-in-chief. I love the dark electronic underground and usually have too much to listen to at once but I love it. I am also an editor at Aggressive Deprivation, a digital/physical magazine since March of 2016. I support the scene as much as I can from my humble laptop.
