EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: Calgary Synthwave Artist JHNN Remixes Stilz' 'Judicator'

The story of JHNN is a bit of a funny one as his early production years in 2009 was spend in the saturated blog house scene circa '07-'09. While that is a genre that we are far away from, the Calgary based electronic producer caught a bit of a flash when the small synthwave scene in his home broke out in 2014. Discovering fellow artist Stilz was absolutely invigorating for the man as the artist was supportive of his project, and even offered him a remix opportunity to which he immediately accepted. With that said, we at Brutal Resonance are proud to premiere JHNN's remix of Stilz already stellar song 'Judicator'. Check it out below:


JHNN has also recently announced that he will be releasing a brand new album titled "Afrofuturism" which will be released on July, 20th, 2018. Named after the African fantasy and fiction movement sparked by the success of "Black Panther", the album will follow a spirit named Joel who abducts JHNN's body and communicates solely through synthwave and funk. Supposed to arrive on Earth in 1983, a miscalculation cost the spirit thirty years and now it is here for who knows how long.
