EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE: Abbey Death Parodies American Celebrity Culture in Their Newest Video "Star Merica"
Industrial goth rockers Abbey Nex and Valerie Abbey AKA Abbey Death have unleashed their latest music video "Star Merica" which parodies American celebrities, and we have the honor of bringing you this exclusive premiere! Check out the video below!
"Star Merica" originally appeared on Abbey Death's debut EP REALIGNMENT, which was described by myself in the review as "...gothic rock sludged with a dose of experimental industrial..." The video is able to transition the chaotic music and psychotic lyrical delivery from both Nex and Abbey in darkened rooms where American flags are lit like Christmas trees.
"Star Merica" was recorded and edited by Vonesper Studios, with the makeup done by Embry Blue.
Abbey Death has also announced their 2016 "Realignment Tour" which will feature both themselves and dark industrial metal band Fractured Fairytales. The short tour will kick off on May 13th in Richmond, Virginia at the Canal Club and end on June 18th in Clifton, New Jersey at Dingbatz. The tour dates are as follows:
